The Genesee Valley BOCES School of Practical Nursing Program is a 1200-clock-hour program, certified by the New York State Education Department, and is designed to prepare graduates for the NCLEX-PN Examination for licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Applicants may review the application information on this site and request any additional information from the Nursing Department.
We are very proud of our successful job placement rate! The LPN Program has a 98 percent job placement rate after passing the NCLEX exam.
We do weekly entrance exam testing (ATI TEAS test) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You test on your home computer with a microphone and a camera. The test is monitored by ATI.
This program offers two site locations: Batavia, and Rochester Tech Park in Gates.
