Graphic Arts
Students gain experience in commercial art and design as well as printing and printing-related equipment. Emphasis is put on digital imaging through the use of state-of-the-art computers and up-to-date software. Students are exposed to analog and digital photography through in-depth lessons and creative experiences. Graduates are ready for entry-level jobs in the graphic arts industry, or to continue their education at the post-secondary level. Career opportunities include commercial artist, graphic designer, printing press operator, pre-press technician, photographer, and bindery technician.
This program is only offered at the Batavia Career and Technical Education Center.
Earn up to six college credits. Third-year math credit and Career and Financial Management credit are available.
