Program Curriculum

This program is offered to adults who wish to take their state licensing examination for Practical Nursing and is taught in two semesters.  Below gives an outline of this program.

First Semester

Human Anatomy and Physiology 
Nursing Fundamentals 
Pharmacology I 
Human Growth and Development 
Basic Nutrition 

Second Semester

Adult Health Nursing
Pharmacology II 
Maternal Child Nursing 
Pediatric Nursing 
Mental Health 
Community Health 

Lab and clinical hours are included in the coursework and at various healthcare facilities.
