Emergency Medical Services
The Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program prepares students to perform life saving skills. Students will be able to graduate with their well-deserved NYS EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)Certification. Emergency skills will be taught in the classroom and then the students will gain hands-on experience performing skills during their clinical time at Noyes hospital and ambulance ride time. Career planning strategies are developed for all students enrolled in the program. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be certified and ready to work on an ambulance. It is also the first step if they plan on continuing into the medical field as a paramedic, firefighter, or even pre-med.
This program is only offered at the Mount Morris Career and Technical Education Center.
